  • No, it’s advisable not to carry your Social Security card with you unless you must show it at an appointment.

  • Also be very aware that, although social security numbers should be kept very secure, there are many institutions that *still* use them as identifying numbers on different kinds of IDs. For example, some states still use your SS# as your drivers license number and/or put your SS# on your license; or some universities still use it as your student identification number.

If any institution asks you for your SS# you do have the legal right by law not to provide it. If they do ask for it, ask why, and what it will be used for, and where it might be displayed. There are most often alternatives.

  • Admiring the time and energy you put into your site and detailed information you provide. It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same old rehashed information. Wonderful read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.

  • First off I would like to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Kudos!

  • I am new to web designing and it made me more confused when I stumble into this content-management-system thing. I’m planning to update a site that is not designed using JOOMLA and was wondering if I can use Joomla to update it..
